when i build i get a message saying my map leaks, and i understand how to fix that, very simple, however when i "fill" the leak its still there and i notice that it is coming from an entity. so i delete THAT entity and it moves to another entity.

I use spacebar alot, to copy thing, i have no idea if that is the reason or not, but it built fine when i used that to copy before. if anyone knows how to solve this it would help me get back into my mapping.

if you didnt know, you can go to File/Pointfile and it will draw a line to where the wall is thats leaking. also, i had this problem when i still used below Grid 1. never use anything below grid 1 to build your brushes or it will give you leaks that you cant even see.

also, read this... http://forums.urbant...ic,13856.0.html since it says both of those things ;)

when i use file/pointfile it crashes gtk, sorry if i forgot to mention that.

i always use stuff lower than 1 to get the perfect detailing just to see the exact measurements :/

i used to do that too thinking it was a great tool... sorry to break the news, but you have to stop using those grids, right now. the q3 engine cant properly draw things under grid 1 (or something like that) so it ends up giving you glitchy ends to the brush and leaks

you can use a patch mesh for something thinner than grid 1, and it wont leak.
