Urban Zone is ready for action again, join us!
Urban Zone has opened signups for the 7th season of our ctf league. After a successful Summer Cup with approximately 200 played matches, we've opened up signups for our regular event and you're all invited to join.
Urban Zone places team in several divisions according to their estimated or known skill and we are thus able to offer decent competition environment for teams of all levels - from the best to the newest. And of course, after the season, your team can promote to a higher division and try their skill against more challenging opponents.
We're a European competition, but we're always happy to welcome teams from other parts of the world - last season we had a division for the Asia Pacific region and they proved to be real fighters. All we need from you is at least four teams so that we can run a separate division for your area and a volunteer or two to help us admin that division. If you have any questions as to what might happen with your signup, just check out our crew listing and use our website pm system or come and talk to us in irc:

Hope to shoot you soon
a short update: 38 signed up teams in 24 hours and there's lots more time left. We already have three teams signed up for the Asia Pacific division - great to see you back guys - and space for as many more as wish to join. Hope to see more European teams and any other that may decide to come our way.

who cares about the name, tell them to come
the truth is, with fewer teams, we will only open one one division for Asia-Pacific, but as soon as there are more teams, we will open up more divisions, that means that even less experienced teams will have a chance to compete with teams at approximately their skill level.
like I said, everybody's welcome

Just a reminder for the (latin) american clans out there, you are very welcome to join as well. You would play in your own division(s) to eliminate ping problems. We've had a couple in the past but not enough to make a seperate division, give it a try, get as many other clans involved, and see how you like it. Season's are short and with loads of clans they become very competitive with small divisions.
