Hi guys.
I run a small server for me and some friends to play on. I only put it on 8 players and 3 of those are usually local.

I have opened port 27960 and I guess that is fine because people can join...BUT..every once in a while, but getting more regular, a players name pops up and says joined the game, then within seconds says diconnected.

This happened about 10 times last night and only one person got in!!
Have I done something wrong or is it just that these people have old versions...although I wouldve thought everyone would be updated now...I have 3.7 BTW.

you do run point release 1.32, right? and that does happen with the standard 3.7 maps too?

Yeah point release is on 1.32 and I mainly only use standard maps. I always tell my friends if I add a non standard map so they can go get it first. Urt is on 3.7 too.

But last night this was happening on Streets2, uptown, Commune and Siberia.

Ive seen it happen before and just assumed the person joining wasnt up to date, but seeing so many last night has made me wonder.

Usually its Q3 players who try to join Urt-server. What is your servers IP. Then I can check out if it reports gamename correctly

My ip is 212.57.229.45 server isnt always running, its only a small one when me and friends want a game. but if you can check it out and give me any help it would be great.

Hmm, I dont have ASE installed yet, maybe someone else can cehck it =]
