Hey Guys

I have recently installed many custom maps, but i am having trouble with a lot of them. I think i am missing textures as things are being displayed with red, white and blue lines instead of proper textures. Is there a fix or anything that can be done to get rid of them?

Yeah, probably youre missing textures, though unless u misused your default .pk3 files its unlikely that this is your fault. Probably the responsible mappers relied on you having other pk3s. So, for example, if its some older maps youre trying to play maybe theyre dependant on the textures contained in the original pk3s shipped with Q3A.

Hey guys

Im using some old maps, i think your right about the Q3A textures. Is there anyway i can get the texture files? I mean some of the maps im having issues with are streetfight and inDUSTrial. What do you think?

Some Q3A textures aren't compatible with ioUrT, maybe try look for some io remakes?

We do play alot custom maps on our server, and I had same problem
Copying pak0.pk3 from original Quake3 into your q3ut4 folder seem to fix this
Also having RetroMapPak35.pk3 in q3ut4 fixes some other textures to.
Seem to have fix 90% of my missing textures

Correct me if I'm wrong! (or if u have a better solution)
