I am talking about remake of Counterstrike map cs_assault or cs_gamma_assault. I wonder anyone here has done the remake of the map or has created something similar to that? It is a popular map. I noticed de_dust2 and aztec remake are available.

I've also been contemplating this, but musing over how to do hostage rescue on a mod that doesnt support it. I have some ideas though if you want them and are going to make the map.

Sorry for being annoyed. Simple don't read anything on the same topic. Learn how to search? Done that and nothing! Trying to get others to jump on me? Rather mean, right? lol

Thanks for sharing your idea. May be start with no hostage and release as it is until version 2 with hostage?

I searched in google and got the listing of cs_assault for urban terror but the catch you have to register and pay for a certain money to download it. The question is whether the site do have it? If not, pay for nothing?

I've had a pm conversation with Bludshot about using CTF in a specific way to simulate hostages, and while i think its possible, it may be to bizarre for players to get there heads around.

For bomb though i think the map would work as it sort of is now. But if modified to be symmetrical its possible the map could be played as a CTF or TS map, but it may come out looking more like de_nuke which would be another nice map to do a conversion job on.
