I would like to have a script that will add 4 bots when a player connects, and take away 4 bots when a player disconnects. I don't know how to do this, but I'd be willing to try if anyone could point me in the right direction. Otherwise, would someone be willing to write up a quick script for me? Thanks

why do you want this? logically, in most cases, no one would connect to an empty server, they're more likely to connect to a server with players on it.
Also it's not possible. There is no IF/THEN for scripting in the Quake III engine
if you want more scripts than you know what to do with we have pretty much every script thought of in utscripts @ desrat.com

A console wrapper is about the only way to do this.
What's that and how do I do that?
Also, the reason being because I run a bot server, Zex_Suik. It's players vs. bots, and I'm sure you will debate it's pointlessness, but it's full a great deal of the time. People love it.

[quote name='"illogical"]Provided the server is non-Win32' date=' the wrapper redirects q3ded's output to its input, and q3ded's input to its output. Then you have to write a logic to watch for players and add/remove bots.[/quote']
Ah, that's an incredible idea! Unfortunetly it is win32, so I guess I'm screwed.
I would submit some feature requests to the urt guys, but they probably could care less.
