Maps used to download at a normal speed but recently they have been downloading slowly like 40kb/s or below :S

From where? There isn't a single map repository. You likely autodownloaded from someone who has a slow host or something.

Every server i autodownload from downloads very slow now...

Sounds like your setup then be it your isp or the equipment.
