Hey, it looks like this is the right section to post about nickname dramas.

Anyway, I can't sign up with my usual name 'fragnetic' because:
"The tag frag4# is owned by the group FRAG4"

Not really sure what's going on here, but i'd appreciate being able to use my usual name. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, and I'm having issues with Dakta being turned into dakota by the website.

Apparently dakota is already owned, and the site is turning dakta into dakota for some ridiculous reason.

Man this passport thing is so dumb... I cant had 4lex... it's saying "alex" is already owned an blahblahblah... wtf i used this username for years... this thing is so stupid, seriously.

This looks to be a general across the board problem. You can be certain the admins are working on it. Don't give up on the Passport system just because it isn't perfect in the first week and a half–2 weeks that it's been up.

Just because you have the skills to leet speak a name does not make it unique, and we will not be fixing this feature because it is not broken.

When we say relax that filter:-

1. It will not check for conflicting clans
2. It will take Alex and Alexia as seperate nicks

But Alex and 4l3x will be the same.

Im sorry that Alex is allready taken, but this is going to happen to some people when we start registering nicknames. Please don't be offended, this is just a side effect.

BTW: saying the system is dumb or stupid is probably not the best way to aquire advice from those who made it. Just a piece of advice :D
