my /video has been slowing the demo down a lot. Now I know this is perfectly normal however the /videos have been slowing down massively, about 5x slower than the normal /video. I downloaded and used Nexus movie config, didn't have what I wanted so i reverted my settings back to why original stuff, now my videos are epicly slow.
Any Ideas?
Thanks for responses

URBAN TERROR IS NOT COD6
AKGRIZZLY: UrT devs slaved over boiling PCs in a crawl space full of rabid monkeys with no food, for no pay all so we could rawk peeps with l337 remington skills
M0usep0d: I got stuck with the slow, heavy, weak, balding model.
ObScUrE: We should start now all to play COD and suggest Sr8, curbstomps, walljumps, jumpmaps...

:start
you guys have tried nexu's movie config and then reverted back manually?
-then delete q3config.cfg (nexu said that already in his post BACKUP your old config before...).
the demo is running slow
-timescale 1
the video recording is running slow
-lower com_maxfps, resolution and other stuff brass, etc...
goto start

frame rate might be too high. I think nexu uses crazy high frame rate as default, right?
i think the console cmd is like cl_aviframerate, or something. Try setting it at default(25).
On a related note...
When I record a demo as avi my audio tracks are fucked. Maybe a codec thing? I've read that the audio needs to be extracted and converted to mp3 or mp4 or something. But, if the audio tack is static, wouldn't I jus be making a mp3 of static? I'm kinda lost, any help?
