I was thinking about a new map project I might want to work on, but it is going to require me to make some rounded rooms. I tried making several surfaces, including a cone, and curved arc, and even something that looked like a dome, but whenever I looked at them from the insides of their curves, they were not visible, and I couldn't highlight surfaces.

Maybe I just missed something. How do you make a visible inside curved surface in radiant?

select the dome for the outside, hit space, the hit ctrl+i. that should flip the patch orientation.

Patch meshes are one-sided by default, to make them two-sided you have to use a "cull none" shader.
