So what happened? Is it illegal yet? Deemed to be destructive?

Idea: Replace blood and other violent things with flowers and other lovey-dovey stuff. Bloodstains become flowers. Corpses become test dummies. Problem solved.

Change the whole game for a minority of people that want to restrict their kids?

Let them restrict their kids VS change the game for all.

I say sir, you got an answer.

I'm interested on the results of this conversation but don't think that the game should be modified for this.
I play always without blood and hit effects and can't imagine how someone could call this a killergame for me this game is at the same level with Super Mario. *goombajumpftw*

I think this is just total BS, firstly, the government is trying to tell their young what they can or can't watch. Some things are common sense like pornography, but now they are trying to restrict a game? PLZ. Games have been known to be completely random from time to time. This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last time that a game is seen as 'violent', so really, they need to back the hell off, this game is as 'deadly' as SWAT 4 or even Call of Duty!

Modifying the game can't possibly be an option, it kills the reason of it, kills the mood, the feel and the fun. I hope they can see exactly WHAT it really does, it lets people compete, both young and older.

Gotta agree with this, it does indeed feel more like a paintball game than actual crap that happens in everyday life.

We play this game at my school, copies are being downloaded left and right and especially now during the finals, the technology classes don't have much of a final, so we're allowed free roam of the internet, and it just so happens that UT is on the list of play together games, its free, its fun, and easy to use. I've seen even some instructors and teachers use it! (They say that they don't, but ho ho, I saw on two of the computers, way hidden at the very bottom is...(io)Urban Terror) LOL. The liars, can't resist the game either!

I hope some other solution can be found, changing or banning the game is really bad, I mean, might as well ban the other games that base off of Germany. Plus, you can't really put a rating on a Multiplayer game because there is no telling what kind of crap you'll find, hell, lets ban the internet all together!

I says, Germany needs to grow up. The only thing they have to fear is N Korea blowing up, or the Terrorists from the Middle east making a free-for-all in Berlin.

lol, what I was saying above; Americans are ready to chop heads off in front of children but don't you dare go sexual.

I'm not saying sexual is good always but you're obviously 'puritan in that, but liberal in War'.

Indeed, its better if their Parents take care of this matter, not the government, did you hear that they banned McDonald's Happy Meals in California, USA? Simply cause the government thinks that their kids are getting too fat, more like hypocrites, while it might be true that they are fat, its up to the parents to take control of this and man up and learn to say NO to the kids qqing about not getting fast food.

As for this Urban Terror problem, the German government needs to back off, its up to the parents to decide to block things like that, I have a friend, or rather, know someone in Germany that constantly swears and tells people to kill themselves and stuff, and he's just a pain. Obviously, his parents fail at teaching him some respect.

As for what you assume me to be, I don't quite understand what you mean, but lets not get 'politics' and 'religion' into this equation, we're better without them.

I am from Germany and I beg you to completely ignore this if you're not inside the german jurisdiction. Consult a lawyer to reassure you.

The BPjM is a goverment body where assholes practice Nazi-nostalgy by putting labels on cultural assets. They're worthless and no replacement for parenting.

This is shameful.
