Yes, it has been mentioned already. At the same time, it would also make sense if there was a button one could click to just remove themselves, like in such a case where someone leaves a clan.
This would eliminate any trouble having to hunt down the owner of the group if someone decides to leave.

Attualy it is a complete fail in design, as in we never actually saw this problem in Beta testing. For some reason or crew of testers just didn't make this but.
Because we now realise the need for "Member Approval" for not just this action. We are making a somewhat larger change than anticipated. This will take time, but rest assured we are working on it.
I will edit your groups now and remove Cloud 9.
