Recently I added a few servers to my favorites list. When I relogged they came up as IP's so I was like "Oh, i won't remember these" and deleted them from the favorites list. Now..they don't show up anywhere! Also, if I enter the IP's of the server's I can't find, they come up as "Awaiting Connection" for nearly 30 before I give up on them. Can anyone help me?

I just don't understand what's going on and why I can't see these servers

Yup. I can see them all on there. So the problem is client side. I've reinstalled it twice, even deleted files from my Application Support folder. I just can't figure out the problem. That's not my only one either. I can't connect to any server via the console

Thats because those port numbers are messed up.

174.37.147.202:279600 should be 174.37.147.202:27960

But that doesn't explain on why I can't see them on my server listing? You don't use the ports to connect via IP anyway...

This may help. It's a Mac game browser called Only Mortal from years back. I thought it might only work on PPC Macs but apparently it also works on Intel Macs under Snow Leopard, so give it a try. Included is a preference file that is updated to find as many games as possible from the existing master servers (gleaned from this forum amongst other things); this preference file should be placed in your users/<username>/library/preferences folder. The preference file also narrows the search to Quake 3 games only (most of which are UrT anyway) but can be narrowed further by selecting "q3ut4" from the "mod" pull-down menu after a few games have begun to register.
You will have to point the browser to where your UrT app is, so that when you click on a game in the browser, your UrT launches and goes to that game immediately.

Did any UrT servers turn up? How many? There's usually around 1300 in all. If you're connected to the master servers, they should at least show up (if you pressed "get new list").

Check that master.urbanterror.net, master2.urbanterror.net, master.idsoftware.com & master3.idsoftware (these four at least), all on port 27950, are included in Only Mortal's master server list for Quake 3 (see prefs). But the pref file I sent does include those.

Perhaps you're stuck behind a firewall that needs some ports forwarded (27950 & 27960, at least). Or an app, like Little Snitch or Peer Guardian (that you may have running), is blocking you.
