Whenever I run most games on my computer that are native to Linux in full screen, my monitor goes black and says "Frequency out of range" I run the game in windowed mode and it works fine, how can I do that with Urban Terror? I never even installed the game.... So what can I do?

OS: Linux Mint 9 (Isadora) - Made off Ubuntu
Video card: Nvidia Geforce GALAXY 7200 GS

Any instructions on how to do this? Because as soon as I run the installer/launcher, idk, it does that.... Can I edit a config file or something?

you can find it here
edit the q3config.cfg

but I think it would work when you set your monitor refresh rate down to 60 over your system settings to play your other games, too.

I run UrT on 800x600 @100hz

start urt from a terminal and use ioUrbanTerror.i386 set r_mode 3

try modes 3, 4, 5, 6 until one works :)

then just include the r_mode setting in your desktop shortcut
