i present my second jobs for urt 4.1.1 called Domus Bellica and Domus Bellica 2

You should make your screenshots and videos with cg_draw2d 0 & r_gamma 1

Dove l'hai presa quell'edera fantastica? :D (transl = great ivy!)

Even if i don't like bidimensional maps, it's a classical layout, should be fun (i will try it in LAN asap)

I would make the big areas bigger, maybe 1.5 - 2 times the size they are now, to give more variation to the mainly close-combat layout: 2 bigger areas where you can allow players to reach balcony using ivy, or to hide behind some crates or pile of woods like the one you placed only to be ornamental.

I would also open some of the arch you closed: probably there are more closed arch than open! And arches are fun to fight in, to give variety to combat.

that you put in two points of the map: to me those are very interesting and you should place them in some more active spots, where players usually pass and can fight in.

I think the map looks better when you make it a bit darker.

My 2 cents.

You have strange design. It's easy to get lost and hard to learn map as a player - all areas are very simliar to each other.

You have strange layout. Wise man told me once:

Ignore the haters Ottone. Beautiful textures, great design.
The hell with too many routes i love getting lost on this map, every area is like a candy, loving it.
Beautiful details, nice foliage, keep it up.

Rayne I'm not a hater. Too many routes = confusion. The fact, that YOU love labyrinths doesn't necessary mean that average, statistic player does too. Making whole map look similar doesn't help either.

Maps meant to be played, not sight-seen.

Or I'am wrong :D
