When I go to join a server if I dont have the map and it goes to auto-download it I keeps saying cURL error anyone know how to solve it?

Make sure Curl is installed, then open the UrT console and type:

/cl_curllib /usr/lib/libcurl.so
/cl_autodownload 1

If you don't know if it is a server problem try another one.

how do i install curl?

do you have Linux? If yes, it should be no Problem. Open your Software / Packet Manager and search for libcurl or sth else.
If you have Windows it should be working, if not idk how to install it :P

i do have linux i have installed the file but it still says the that the cURL libary is missing

Which Linux distribution are you using?
Navigate to /usr/lib/ and look if you have a 'libcurl.so' file.
If you have this file start UrbanTerror and press 'Shift + ESC'.
Now type:

/cl_curllib /usr/lib/libcurl.so

Im using 10.04 lucid lynx i dont have a libcurl.so i have a libcurl.so.4 though

If not type the same command again but with the 4. ;)

/cl_curllib /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4
