How much money do you have exactly. What mobo do you have? Does it support PCI-e? In that case I would go for ATI x700 or Nvidia 6600(GT)...

pick an ATI chipset based card, that which you can afford... casue most of them are kickass, and if you ask for a brand (cause ATI doesn't product GCs): I really happy with my Saphire (no problems since i rememebr)

Might I remind everyone that likes to play OpenGL games like COD, Doom III, Enemy Territory and of course our Urban Terror, nVidia is the daddy of OpenGL games. Personally I'd go for nVidia on the strength of that alone.

First i would like to thank everybody for their replies.
Since im a poor man i have a:
P4 Celeron (i know, it sux) 2,4 Ghz
512 RAM
80 Gb HD
blablabla :D

Ok, i have done some research on the market and i have found this GC that im a bit intressed in. Its a GeForce 5900. Since i only play UrT on my computer i only need a GC that works really good OpenGL. Is this a good choise?

Hit me!

*Edit: My budget is around:
1600 Swedish kr (SEK)
216,00 US-dollar (USD)
174,87 Euro (EUR)
119,92 Pund sterling (GBP)
271,31 Canadian dollar(CAD)
:D :P

Hi,

I have ATI Radeon 9600 Pro, pentium 4 2.8, 1 GB RAM, and Urt run fine for me. I get 250 FPS max.

Yes, a 5900 will work fine.
