Anybody know a work around so 2 players on two different computers, one running Vista, the other running Ubuntu, can connect with the same ip address, the same internet connection? I have seen players do it and am just trying to figure out how. Thanks in advance!

Add +net_port XXXXX to the command / shortcut you use to launch UrT on each PC, where XXXXX is a different number on both (27960 is default so use that for one and 27961 for the other).
( I think, never tried it myself ;) )

^that's the solution.
I randomize it on the custom client. I'd say the default distribution should do the same if the net code is not altered to accommodate the case properly. Ideally, if it's randomized it should be still set explicitly on the the default value on the 'start a server' UI for obvious reasons, and of course on dedicated server.
