Hey,

I just installed Urban Terror in Ultimate Edition Gamer 2.6/64-

About 2-3 seconds after I click on it, this is what is on the screen-

I'm new to Linux, and Urban Terror too-

I think it's a major malfunction-

All idea's and help are welcome-

Although it appears that Mitsubishi has halted his (most excellent) work on this, I would suggest that you use his latest available build of the io Q3 engine for UrT, available here.
I also use the UE distro (though not the gamer's edition) and the executable above fixed that very problem for me. Hope that helps!

Seem that urban terror cant find the .pk3s folderin main urban terror folder.Make sure you have zpak000_assets and zpak000 in c://program files/urbanterror/Q3UT4.

Umm, yeah, except that does not work in Linux, as we have no C: drive. On my system, UrT is installed at:
/usr/local/games/UrT
It will likely be somewhere similar on your system (note that the actual folder name may be different if you installed the game through the distribution's package management system.)

he means the person is using linux and there is no "C://" in linux nor "Progam Files/"

Hi, i had the same problem.
i fixed by installing the newest version ioquake3 from here.
i also had a problem with downloading master server list, fix here.

I sorta got a problem like that, only with me it seems to starup fine and everything, I when I go in to play it goes to the loading screen, when fully loaded UrT just shuts down on me.
