When is nickname system ready?

(Do we get a PM when its ready?)

Nickname registering will be functional and correct working, on the same day as the next UrT release?

Do we get a PM or Mail warning about (release of new UrT and) the nick/name registering system, lets say 1 week before the nick system is working (and urt-release)?
So we know when we can get our nicks we want, withour being to late.

Or do we have to check out this site every day hoping we can finally get our (correctly spelled) nickname we want, since so many players cant get the names they want/use.....?

I tried, but still the old name bug. I cant take a nickname, because its in use by another person (but that nick is different)

Perhaps the boards are acting like this is a trans-dimensional shift and saying "NO! We cannot do this because it will create a paradox in the time rift!"
