Is it possible for me to make a game so my friend can join? Whenever I make a room and add a bot or two, he's unable to join for some reason..

How do I ..fix.. this?

You just start a map and he types /connect your_ip_address_here

if it doesnt work, give us the error. Prolly you are behind a router and need to forward the port.

Don't you need to allow a max number of slots?
If you set that a maximum of 3 players can play on your server, you add 2 bots and you join, that makes it 3; therefore no more room for your friend.

I don't know the command by heart but it's surely in the manual/readme.
If you start your server localy there's the option to allow "human" in the left/bottom corner of the UI just before you start the server.
