I'm trying to learn how to use q3map2_bumpy_2. So I dropped the q3map2-bumpy-r2.ppc file into Netradiant's contents/MacOS/install , right alongside Q3map2.ppc.
I put my two textures (the real one and the _n normal map one) in the texture folder. Next, under the build menu-->customize I put
[q3map2-bumpy-r2] -light -nocollapse -fast -samples 3 -bounce 2 -patchshadows -radbump
because I saw somebody else use those commands.
It returned:
"The connection timed out, assuming the build process failed. Make sure you are using a networked version of Q3Map? Otherwise you need to disable BSP monitoring in prefs."
instead of a .rad file. please help?
