you dont have that much free ram.
put "set com_hunkmegs 256" into your <installation director>/q3ut4/autoexec.cfg

I think it means urT failed to allocate enough RAM to run the game. Open your cfg file, fine com_hunkmegs and set it to 1/3 of your total RAM.

it shouldn't be set to 1024MB this game doesn't use that much ram any pc with plenty of memory to spare should really only have a max hunkmmegs set to 512 which even then is more than enough for this game.
