i think the best thing is to reintroduce vital parts(30% to get one) to psg, make it slower then 2,6 was with a little bit more kickback and the sr8 leave as it is now.

It was very nice to shoot in the spine or in the lungs.....
I used to be a heart shooter at those times (sigh) :D
Anyway, I understand the code had to be simplified.

And don't even think about erasing the SR8 from this game, you fools !
Think about another change maybe... ;)

The sr8 might be good, but it's the contrast between it and the other (auto) weapons that bothers everyone (well, me for sure) I believe.

I remember once SID had declared their intention to increase player life cycle in-game... and that has always contrasted with keeping the sr8 as-it-is now (and the idea of 1shotkill and also how easy it is to get one with the sr8). :P

It's a fact that 90% of snip frags are made by SR-8. It means that SR-8 and Psg1 are not balanced.
IMHO SR-8 is too effective compared with every weapon, except maybe the LR300 (but with LR300 you risk more because of the shorter range of this weapon). I think UrT developers have to increase the reload time between two shots. Also it should be impossible at all to shot with SR-8 during any kind of movement.
Have you ever really used a similar rifle? It IMPOSSIBLE not only to hit, but simply to aim if you aren't completly stopped!
I'm agree about the damage: if you are hitten by such a bullet you are surely out of combat!
