well you can't try it .. sorry I'm to lame to put demo or something like that so I'll try to keep it short
map: abbey ; location > stairs outside central room .. if you moving down and "stop" you will slide down few more stairs >>>>>> something like slow power-slide .. but if you go on the edge you stop in moment you stop holding "W" or whatever your key for forward is ..
is that on purpose like that on any stairs (well kinda have feeling it is - I really didn't experiment on every map every stair) .. is it "the stair thing"

maybe not for you ... but in my age knifing on sliding stairs is a bit of a challenge .. let em see you shave ur legs on icy stairs
