Hey FS long time player and fan with just a suggestion/request for a couple crosshairs...

Was hoping in the next release 2 crosshair choices could be added into the mix.

One being a small circle with no dot... just a small circle. I've messed around with the c.hair cvars a bit and tried to make one myself but it pretty much can't be done effectively... Selecting the circle with a dot c.hair and setting it to /cg_Crosshairsize 2.44 let's you have a mini circle which is ok but u have to crank ur saturation settings or look at a non-lit area of the map to see it clearly at all times because other bright colors will drown it/fade... digital vibrance also makes it easier to see.

I'd show an example of what it looks like when it's drowned out by mostly all colors but the jpeg screenshots don't show it to well.

The other is just a standard 4 reticle crosshair... the game currently has variations of it 1 cross with a dot and 1 cross that has a black outline on the reticles which really doesn't serve any purpose...

pretty much like the old school 4 reticle cross hair with no added spice... a non-expanding with recoil c.hair just keep it static... examples being the cs crosshair or the l4d crosshair. The one in the example is exactly what i'm looking for just take out the black and extension and it's perfect.

you might ask why don't you just use the dot? because not everyone likes the dot...

Anyway just a request/suggestion from a long time player/fan thx!

Pussnboots im pretty sure a UFO as a crosshair will not be added. But f1 to new USEFUL crosshairs.

yeah cs:s haz only one default crosshair in some low colours + sizes, comeon letz beat valve up with that :D
i like that when i get no hits, and change the cross and it worx :3
also i like the freedom of self-choice urt gives more than cs:s or cs, or most other games

lol.. It's not a "UFO". It's actually a "Cat's eye" crosshair. And was designed with best aiming in mind. I wanted a circle, but I also wanted something to hone in on the enemy a bit more. So, this design is what I came up with. It's actually quite useful! Demo >


But yeah, I would like to see the crosshairs by Delerius!
