I certainly am not taking the credit for the composition of this piece, but rather the re-instrumentation and reproduction, showcasing my talents, as well as my enthusiasm and support for the game :) I'm not trying to do wrong here, nor do I believe I have, but if you give me at least a name, or preferred alias, I will be glad to add it!

Have a look at the ut4_uptown Read-Me file i'm sure it's probably stated, if it's not I Don't know why.

**EDIT** - So i looked in the zpak couldn't find much :/

I looked, trust me, I couldn't find anything relating to it...

Only person relating to the Music/Sound within 4.1 is someone named 'Mr" and I don't know if he/she truly is the composer for the Uptown song. So I did try to make it quite clear that this is, indeed, a cover, a remake.

In 4.2/HD release i have for windows i looked in the maps section and yer there is maybe a read-me for every single blooming map OTHER THAN uptown lol talk about coincidence lol :/

I too am musician/production student--I play guitar, bass, trombone, and really anything else I can get my hands on and could easily lay down those parts. Lemme know if ya wanna collab (maybe using the website, Kompoz, or something)

- one idea for stuff like this: use a IR of a small speaker, then reverb of a room so it sounds like it's coming out of a speaker into a room
-A guitar strumming C#m -> Cm --> Bm might be cool to vary it up. kinda early Beatles chromatic thing
- Heard it as a surf rock thing w/ some strat warbles. Think The Ventures

I save these kinds of effects for post processing- though a lot of it can be done in game if you know your tools, this is more sound design and would be used if it were for a physical application into a project.

I composed this in around an hour, including mixing and last minute tweaks.

It doesn't fit Uptown at all, but it is a completely original composition. Could be used in a wide variety of things. Enjoy.
