alrighty...i have an old vers of punkbuster.....i went to PB website and got the new files...where to i place them or how do i install...

pb should update itself while being online. anyway, there is an application available on http://www.evenbalance.com/ which is called pbweb. get that, place it in your pb folder, run it.

Not very helpful are they.
Make sure the PBWEB.APP is in USERS/YOURNAME/LIBRARY/APPLICATIONSUPPORT/QUAKE3/PB
or else it wont work.

ok i have the Punkbuster.pkg,ma001336,mc001069 in the quake3 game folder....
ive never had some much problems with this game...ive played it since the version before the rommel map came out..i love this game..i just havent played it for so long

Ok you need to run the punkbuster installer. Its in the punkbuster.pkg
Make sure your quake 3 folder is in the applications folder cuz the installer is going to put pb there. Its also going to install in -
USERS/YOURNAME/LIBRARY/APPLICATIONSUPPORT/QUAKE3/PB
APPLICATIONS/QUAKE3/PB - thats what you should have after its installed. so thats 2 places that should have a pb folder
Then run the PBWEB.APP that is supposed to be in users pb folder.
