You don't have to convert the demos (.dm_68), they only contain the informations for the game to replay it.

I knew that,but that still doesnt help.Not as much as i would want it to.

Only way i could do this,is if i would use both configs at the same time,switching between them [when i want to watch the demo,to see if its worth it,and when i want to convert it]



Xenon,i got the model from a website,cant remember which.
It a m40,and i gave it a texture to look similar to the sr8,but its obviously not.
Altough,i asked 3 different guys,that dont play URT,and they tought it was the same weapon.

Took me about 6 hours just to render that.

And im not the owner of the model.

I also tried to record that way.

The result was...not good.


It did converted the demo,with a 1280x720 resolution.
But it only recorded the part that i was seeing [the 800x600 screen,so i only saw exactly what i would see in that frame from screenshots]



But somebody from dust2dawn said he would help me.
He would convert the demos that i would send him.

But there still is the problem,that my specs cant see 720p movies.
It would be a painful editing,because it will lag and crash more often than i can imagine...


Wonder why ?

In this clip,i used about 10 maybe 15 short effect clips.
And sony vegas crashed about 5 times,every time bringing me back with a few minutes [cause i forgot to save,and the autosave was older than my last save]



Anyway...ill figure this out.
I hope however not to make a clip recorded at that low resolution...

I liked the video, but I didn't know the quotes so they did seem a bit strange......
I liked the last one more because (I think i commented that there too) the effects seemed to have a similar style, it looked kind of like matrix , exept of the color..... in this video you didn't use as many effects wich I find sad because the last one was very well edited, also this time the effects did't fit together as well as last time..... anyway it was good :)

Despite what i said before,in my next frag clip i intend to add some more effects.
But nothing like the ones in my previous frag clip [cleanse emotions]

Something similar to the first part,but nothing like adding so many effects after each kill.

Also,this next time i want to make them from "scratch".




Anyway...i have everything planned [except what songs im gonna use]

Thing is,theres only 1 part that im scared of : that the guy who will convert my demos,wont slow down frags properly.

But that could be retouched in sony vegas.



Except that,there would have to be the lag and the low resolution.
This 3 small things are the only things that keep me from allready starting doing my next frag clip...

So...still nobody knows any ways of how could i convert myself the demos to avis at 1280x720,when my monitor cant see that resolution ?


I tried switching between cfg's [windowed when recording,full when watching...it recorded just the part available on the screen,so it was a 800x600 window]


Only way is to still send the demos to someone to convert them for me...but i would feel much better to do it myself.

looks to me that u didnt do shit on the intro besides make a skin and some text.
Must have used a project file that was already made... gg

I mentioned that i did not made the model.
I did took that model,because it was the closest copy i could get my hands or,that looks a bit similar to the sr8.
I currently have about 30 different models of snipers and about 40-50 various other weapons [knifes,pistols,autos,smg's...and so on]

From all of those,m40 looked most similar.




So to reply to your post...yes,i did use a template where it was that weapon model,made by someone else [again :i mentioned that,i think even in the youtube description]

I mean, you didn't even make the animation of floating around it and shooting the bullet. Thats what had impressed me before I knew it was copied, not the skin

Ok...you still didnt understood.


You think that if i changed the first camera path,it wouldve looked different or better ?
I changed it in more than 10 different ways,but they all looked bad,nasty angles.
So the path that the guy put on it,was the best option.

The second path,when it gets into the scope,that was made by me.
Dont remember the time it took me to edit the path,but it was quick and fast,it didnt took long.
I also zoomed in a bit on the first path,but yeah...you didnt noticed that,you where to busy accusing me that i didnt do anything.
Even if i didnt do,whats the point ?
I did not made that video for the intro,i made it for the edit and the few sync's.

If the intro is what impressed you in the first place...well,then i guess you shouldnt watch any of my videos [old or new to come]


What it took long was for it to render the whole thing.
Cause editing it [texture,camera path,lighting] took a few minutes.

I did not took credit for the model or the animation.
I found that model in more places than you can imagine,all claiming credits for it.

I mentioned what i did to it,just so this type of replies to be avoided...but i forgot that people dont read the first post,so how couldve they known what to say ?
