Like topic says, I have some problems with my connection. I'm using cable 100/5mbs connection which starts lagging in afternoon when people come online and usage level increases. I GUESS these tv-cable connections are shared somehow in my local area and gaming turns pain when people come home and start downloadin etc. My ping goes from 50 to over 100, more like 120 when throttling(or packetloss) starts.
I usually set my ut_timenudge to 50 when it starts; it helps a little but not enough.
Ive been running different speedtests and those give me right result. Problem is just lag spikes I get in game.
Im wondering, would it be possible to tweak my connection via bash script somehow to get more stable connection? In general I mean bash script which runs also ioUrbanTerror.x86_64.
EXAMPLE:
This bash script I use to run UrT. I run it, game launch and brightess change.
"#!/bin/bash
xgamma -gamma 1.5
./ioUrbanTerror.x86_64
xgamma -gamma 1"
My network settings(alltough these dont matter)
