I'm looking to buy a new mobo for my comp.
The 2 I'm interested in right now are the

Intel "D865PERLK" i865PE Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU
and
MSI "Neo2-PFISR " i865PE Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU

My main intrest is gaming (UrT BABY!!!). Does anybody have any experience with these boards or have any other recomendations? $150+/- (American) price range.

Currently I have a 2.4Ghz P4, ATI Radeon 9600HT, 1G ddr266(will upgrade)

For those of us too lazy to wander around Intel's site, what are the actual differences between these boards?

I dunno much about the i856PE chipset, but I'd just try to find as many user reviews as you can. I only have hands on experience with socket A boards with nforce2 or VIA chipsets.

I guess it all depends on if you'll actually use the dual channel memory, or if you want the backplane Firewire port, or if you want the 6 backplane USB ports vs 4, blah blah blah...

Most of the user reviews for both of the mobo's I mentioned above are excellent. I did do some research and that is why I narrowed down my choices to these 2 boards. I just wanted to get some feedback from the UrT community, because we share a common interest, UrT. I do not think that the ppl who wrote the reviews on the Intel and MSI sites play UrT. IMO the 2 boards are fairly equivelant.
