Hello,

I'm not expecting anyone to remember me. But I used to be a huge fan of Urt. Actually back in the early stages when Action Quake was around. Anyway, I just wanted to show you whats coming to Urt soon. Its a little map I whipped up of a European town. Here are some screens. Please remember its in the alpha stages, so lots more to do. I hope you approve.

Looks really nice. i'll try to play it sometime. One thing i noticed from the screenshots though, was it lacks details in some areas (e.g. a huge wall with just a brick texture on it) which is easily fixable by adding windows, pipes, etc. Also you could try adding manholes or trash to the ground.
just play with a bunch of stuff ;)

best of luck

As a matter of fact, I'm trying to think what the ambiance sounds would be for a European town. I am looking for sounds like birds, crickets, stuff like that. But don't know if gamers actually like too many sounds in the maps. So whatever you have I will definitely take a look at. Thanks!

Thanks guys for all the good comments. I will do my best.

Gamers effing love sounds. Just be sure it's quiet enough so you cannot hear it over firing your gun. If you can hear it over that, it's way too loud / annoying. Unless the sound is like thunder that is supposed to be real loud.

Looks promising. Reminds me of cs Italy. Please make sure to clip things that people could get stuck on.

Ok, I will put some more sounds. Just a little bit of information, this map was originally created for True Combat: Elite. Dragonne had a look at it and suggested that I release it for Urban Terror. The March 31st deadline on my site is for True Combat: Elite. Very shortly after, I will be releasing it for Urban Terror. The first release is always an alpha. In a way, this is a good thing. It allows the map to be somewhat tested for bugs and stuff. Being that the two games differ in game play, it will not be entirely tested for Urban Terror. Besides, I need to brush up on the entities, OBJ, CTF, and whatever else is involved with Urban Terror.

Cheers!   :-D

p.s. I almost forgot to show you a new screen.
