Any way to make the specular more like specs and less like thawed iced?

jeesus, im trying to get back into map making and you keep changing things on me!!! ;p just joking, please, keep the changes a comming, im loving what im seeing, maybe i should redo invasion completely first, just to give it a major facelift(its ugly)

Forgot to mention - theres some limitations to the r_decal var providing decals for all solid surfaces (terrain, r_vbo, models etc) .. if you think it could be causing your slowdown just turn it off with r_decals 0 to go back to the original path.

My fps isn't that low as in the screenshots, they were made while running a lot of background programs including GTK which always makes my fps VERY low. In iobump I get around 40fps instead of the 120 fps I normally get. I will test it with decals 0 later. And yes my graphics card is very old haha.

Yeah.. its doing a full pixelshaders 2.0 pass for 90%+ of surfaces.. it's going to be a fair chunk slower then say, hl2, little lone q3.

I'll see if I can balance it out a bit.

Can you selectively turn off the PS2.0 pass for textures without an _n?
