Graphics Error? Rate Topic: -----

I seem to have a graphics error on some maps

Anyone know a fix to this?

it would help diagnose the problem.could be your graphics card

Model: Dell Inspiron 580
4GB RAM
Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU ,750@ 2.67 GHz 2.67 GHz
64 Bit Windows 7 Home Premium
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5450

It works perfectly fine on my other computer which has much worse specs

This looks like a graphic card driver issue, so change to the most recent driver version and look if it helps to solve your problem.

I get this aswell but only after upping the graphics to maximum then doing a vid_restart.


it also normally happens after i turn picmip to 0 or whack graphics to full settings


so i just type:


/r_picmip 0; vid_restart; wait 1000; vid_restart; ut_echo "video has been restarted"



and then all is fine and graphics turn to normal.

Don't know if any of this will help...

I just did that today, and it didnt seem to correct the error =/

yeah, i had all my graphics set to max too
however, when i set graphics to normal or low, or typed in the code you gave me, it still didnt fix the problem :(
