I've been trying to get on the main site (www.urbanterror.net - 207.44.133.104) without any luck the entire day.
Any server admin aware of the problem or is it on my side only?

Agbd And I had to lose the box it was on, Now its resideing elsewhere.. May take a bit for all the DNS entries to resolve.. Shouldnt be too long cuz the name servers are still the same.

How come the forum's URL is now www.forums.urbanterror.net as opposed to ye olde forums.urbanterror.net?

yep it does, even though i find urbanterror.net does get slow sometimes, sure thats just a huge hit thing going on

should clear up, we had to move the sites to a new server last night quick like.. And in many of the online dns tools its shows it as being a very fast site (above 75% of other sites)

A bit more upgrading and other stuff and all should smooth out.

yup, freakin DNS entries all over the place only update once in 24hrs. *yawn* nice work boys! * man am I tired! *

hehe well half the time its the DNS hasent propergated, i know here at uni you have to restarted the box your on to force it to re get the dns for each url, it seems to cashe it!

Pfffffffffff, so if the dns was updated a couple of hours and a restart normaly works

One more reason to run your own DNS server, you can manually clear it's cache.
