All weapons have been modeled? If the answer is no, what weapons are to model?

Not many left to finish. :smile:

A lot of time and effort go into making these models, and the textures to go with them.

We have most of them done and not many to go, but due to the time it takes to get the weapons to a standard we feel is ready for HD there is no telling how soon/long before they are all completed. :biggrin:

Great work Smachine the spas is one of my favorite weapon models for HD.

Waaaayyy too big, that G36 model takes half of the screen... And tbh, compared to the 4.1.1 G36 model, this one in the video looks more like a 3.7 model than an "HD" one.

So... AFAIK weapon specs are hard coded into md5 models. So assuming you have all/almost all models done - "The Great Rebalancing of Weapons" is on the way? :)

Your internal testing team will have a lot of fun I guess :)
Your team responsible for compilations of testing snapshots will have hard times :D


And after this process - a lot of "fun" on boards :D

For first person things (hands, weapons) we are still using md3, but the coders are working on making md5 possible there. When this is done we can start worrying about the positioning (this is what makes it look big), and other things related to the 1st person weapons.

I agree that it needs a bit more contrast, but once 1st person is ported to md5 we should have access to spec maps, normal maps, etc. For metal parts I would say the spec map is just as important as the diffuse, so when we can use those things will look a lot more interesting and less dull.

i love the spas. it might be a little underpowered (i'd say maybe reduce spread) but spas + beretta silenced stilll kix ass :laugh:
