Been searching for a while and can't seem to find the answer.
Is there a way to move .pk3 files (e.g. 3rd party maps) out of the q3ut4 folder while the server ioUrTded is running? Right now I can't do it because the files seem to be locked by the ioUrTded process when they are loaded.
I'm running a public windows server. I'd like to be able to put custom maps in when alot of people are online (load a new mapcycle.txt and cyclemap to reload maps). And do the opposite (move maps out of q3ut4, load another mapcycle2.txt and cyclemap to reload standard maps only).
I'd really love to find a way to do that without a server restart, as this disconnect all the players.
thanks for your help!

Contact partypoison and ask him for the b3 plugin snype made for him. ;)
It was written for linux but porting to windows shouldn't be difficult if you know basic python that is. :P

That's a platform limitation. Linux doesn't lock files as Windows does for running processes.
