Following the instructions in the Manual section to setup a server. I've created a start.sh file that is just the very basic using this template:

#!/bin/bash
while true
do
/home/urt/urbanterror/ioUrTded.i386 +set fs_game q3ut4 +set dedicated 2 +set net_port 27960 +set com_hunkmegs 128 +exec server.cfg
echo "server crashed on `date`" > last_crash.txt
done

But everytime I attempt to run it. I get the following error:

./start.sh: line 4: /home/urt/urbanterror/ioUrTded.i386: Permission denied

You have to allow the directory to be accessed and modified.

Giving full permissions to the directory does not change the error.

Since it is not listed in the manual section. What should the permissions be set to on the various directories and files on a linux server.

chmod +x ioUrTded.i386

Directories don't matter - you can edit the launcher, so it's fine
