Hello!

I've got a friend who is banned from my server.

He is not banned on B3 nor on the server per se (I go to banlist.txt and his IP is not there).

I have done:
!unban @X
/rcon removeip xx.xx.xx

But it doesn't work.

Is it possible for a player to still be banned? And how to remove it?

if its possibly b3:
look in b3 mysql under penalties.

if its banlist, actually open the banlist.txt and search

Thanks for the reply but as I said in the 1st post, I looked in the banlist.txt and didn't find his IP.
I even stopped b3 and that didn't help either.

when you search banlist.txt do you include the ":-1" on the end?


might check your firewall too. possible.

when b3 adds ip addresses it does class C range bans.

so

123.456.789.123

becomes

123.456.789.0:-1 

in the banlist file.

Your friend may also be giving you his internal IP instead of the one that would show up on the banlist.

Restart the gameserver process as well, just to make sure the banlist is flushed correctly.

Somehow he got unbanned, dont ask me how... Maybe it was restarting something that did the trick.

anyways, problem solved.
