[Stardiaries]

Hi all,

It is nearly impossible to find any UT server near Malaysia which has a ping under 200ms - I'm totally annoyed and fed up, BUT:

I've started my own server since today :)

It's located in Kuala Lumpur and has a 10MBit up / 10MBit down connection.

Currently I'm testing the stuff, so it maybe restarted or temporarily down once in a while.
I'd be happy for any hints & advises, whishes and suggestions - also I need better names for the bots, hehe. Also please tell me if you have a good ping and from where you connect.

The server's name is "Tiger Power", you can find it in the (rather short) Asian UT server list: http://www.urbanterr...rs/list/?lcc=AS

Have fun with the only Malaysian UT server out there :)

Thanks for the server Star.
I am playing from Bangladesh and I get around 150ping there. Compared to other servers hosted in US/UK - it is excellent!

check here for linux servers start up guide (you can skip the setup stage but there are tips on start scripts etc)

Nice one star, I use monit to handle my game servers uptime.

To preserve the script should other server admins wish to use it I have copied it into this post:
