There is no possibility to resume the download. You can not pause the download. There is a list of the files vai download and you can not select a file individually. Bad application.

when you want to stop downloading you just close the updater, it will then resume from the last file it failed to download.

updater should also have a button that starts the game it should also display news from the site and it should offer a way to change the command line xargs and config file location and it doesn't

yes I aggree and all very nice ideas, the updater is fairly new still too remember :) I am sure it will get better with age.

there is also multiplatform methods out there that integrate the updater into the main game client meaning a player doesnt need to manual check for updates or be informed to check for them.

Its something I am sure the devteam will look into, but in the interest of releasing an update that has been long awaited I personally was happy they did not wait for a more matured updater before releasing :P

This is not true. I closed it and restarted it when it seemed to have gotten hung on 100% on file 3. It started over from the beginning.

I agree with you. It should be possible to pause and resume download.
