I downloaded 4.2 with the updater and whenever I click on Quake3-Urt.exe a window pops up saying "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows that you're running. Check your computer's information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, then contact the software publisher."

I'm on a 64-bit version of Windows 7. Is 4.2 only available for 32-bit? How can I fix this?

I redownloaded everything and it works now. I also put it in the Program Files folder instead of Program Files (x86) but I don't think that matters. Maybe everything didn't download correctly the first time.

Yeah the Quake3-UrT.exe file was probably 0kb size, a lot of players had this problem the release day due to the large amount of downloads.

hey , i downloaded urt lastest version 4.2.0.17 and when im going to start the game , a window pops up with the current message " the program doesn't answer " like i think it might be a compatible problem or there are missing some drives on my computer , but i've checked my drives and their all updated soo , if you guys could help me i would be thankful ..

The current version is 4.2.018, not 4.2.017.
