Hi, I just downloaded Urt 4.2 UrtUpdater, but for some reason it does not let me download.
As soon as I click accept and download it displays the message: "Could not download the files. Please check your internet connection. You can ask for help on the official website: www.urbanterror.info"
Help to fix this problem would be much appreciated

I got mine from there. I'm running OSX 10.8 - Mountain Lion and the game runs perfect.

Though for your auth key, go to Library>app support>quake 3>q3ut4 then open up 'authkey' doc. Then paste in the auth key provided in your profile, save the file, and then you should be all good to go :)

Thanks banksy! much appreciated for the reply, but for some reason when i click on the Mac osx link, it downloads perfectly, but when I click on it, it says that Urban Terror 4.2 disk is unreadable. Any suggestions?

All I can think of is that the download wasn't complete, or it was interrupted (may be missing files).
You may need to download it again. The file should be 1.2gb
If that doesn't work, I guess you could ask around on the forums for another external source, but for me, the one I provided worked perfectly.
