Hi All,
sorry for my english.
Yesterday i installed the new version of UT (4.2) either in a new folder and updating the previous version 4.1.

In both the cases the sound doesn't work either during the presentation and during the game. A complete silence :).

I am using an external usb audio device (presonus audiobox) under ubuntu 10.10 with asio driver. With the previous version the audio worked fine and the sound was very good.

Is it possible to set the script to debug the application? What logging files can be checked to fix the problem?

Any consideration and advice are appreciated to fix the problem.

Did you check the md5sum of all of your .pk3 files ?

Yes!!! checked it and all .pk3 file are ok.

Finaly it works.
The problem was only a stupid configuration of Pulse audio. On my Ubuntu The previous version of UT worked without Pulse.

I know you've fixed your problem, but I believe if you install pavucontrol you should be able to regulate where your sound is going to.
