I get this same error. I don't know what is causing it, but I'm starting to give up on this game with this inability to play.

1. You are posting this in the wrong part of the forum. This part is for 4.1.x not for 4.2

2. Do you have a firewall? If yes, is the updater allowed to connect to internet?
3. There is a post with a link for the full install. Just search in the 4.2 section.

try again - so i did.
and check your firewall logs and try 2 run it as adminsitrator
