Hi,

I've made my new account less than one hour ago. I've validate it, on the website I've asked for a new authkey, then I put it into the "Log in" menu in game but when I click on "Apply" the main menu appear again and nothing happens. Peoples tell me I'm supposed to see something like "Welcome !" but nothing.

I've also tried to create a "authkey" file into /home/koshie/Urban Terror/UrbanTerror42/q3ut4 with my authkey, nothing more or less.

I launch the game, not authentified. Tried again to type it manually, the same.

I'm on 4.2, on GNU/Linux Chakra Archimedes on KDE 4.9.00, kernel 3.4.6-1, 64 bits.

I run the game in 64 bits with an addition to the KDE menu with this command : ./Quake3-UrT.x86_64 in this work path : /home/koshie/Urban Terror/UrbanTerror42

Everything work in game, except auth.

To create it manually the default linux path is /home/YourUser/.q3a/q3ut4/authkey

The "welcome" text shows at the main menu near the bottom left of the screen.

You need to run the 32 bit executable, there's a bug with the 64 bit version

Same thing as Koshie happens 2 me except im on a 1-year old macbook pro...

i had the same thing happen go in your urt foulder i put there and then go in game and put it in

this all seems weirdly complicated. i have similar and extended probs:
Win7 x64
1. Urt updater comes up with error says, i am not connected to the internet, only updates half the files. Doesn't work.
2. dl'd a complete folder, works fine for a week (except cant seem to get auth to register??) now, suddenly cant see any servers on server list (yes, checked all in game settings) 4.1 same prob, nothing.
i am disappoint!!!!
*if i hadn't played Urt for a fair while already, i would be over it after this, just saying, no malice intended.
