4.2.001 shipped with some lame things in the config like rate 3000. Really it should have come with optimal settings for the best game experience for users and the people they are playing against.

So I was going to ask if 4.2.002 will fix that, but then I'm thinking how could it without overwriting people's configs, which would suck for people who have manually worked on them and made things just how they want.

So yeah, I'm curious about this :)

The rate was defined in the mod code, the value in default.cfg is 8000. We won't overwrite your config files (except maybe the default.cfg file).
