I play 4.1 on 64 bit Linux. Tried to run the installer for 4.2, but it's 32 bit. Is there a Download link to a tarball of the whole game or a 64bit installer? I really don't want to install a whole set of 32bit libraries just to run the installer.
Thanks,
Kirk

The 32-bit installer worked for me on OpenSuse 12.1 x86_64. Had to install the 32-bit version of libqt4x but then it went fine.

You could use the dedicated server updater to download the game. Same thing with out the gui.
Yes, UrTUpdater-Ded.x86 works in 64 bits, because it is console only. Its libs requirements are few (as seen with "ldd UrTUpdater-Ded.x86") compared with UrTUpdater.x86.
In my case, Debian wheezy 64bits with packages ia32-libs and ia32-libs-gtk installed, UrTUpdater.x86 UrTUpdater.x86gives the error reported in other post (undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData11detach_growEPii). The error is related to libQt needed is version 4.7 or greater. Although i have libQt-4.8 in system (64 bits), the ia32-libs-gtk package have only libQt-4.6 (probably in unstable it will be updated) for 32bits apps.
The updater downloads game assets and all engine binaries: MS-Win, Mac, Linux-32bits and Linux-64bits (and also dedicated server, 32 and 64 bits).

there's nothing complicated ("enabling" a repo = uncommenting two lines and run an update), but i fail to understand why i should install some 32bits clutter which i henceforth will have to keep in mind are there.
It's having to install anything when a simple wget can do the trick which is a lot more complicated than it really needs to be.
The server updater 64bits version works for me like a charm.
