Hi,

When I play UrT 4.2, I get only 30-31 FPS. If I change the settings to a lower resolution or lower detail, I get the lower resolution or lower detail, but the FPS stay the same!

The problem may be, that Ubuntu doesn't show my graphic-card in the system-settings.

Any idea how to solve this?

Using official 4.2 client on Ubuntu 12.04

My Notebook is a Thinkpad T410 with
Intel® Core™ i5 CPU M 520 @ 2.40GHz × 4
4 GB RAM
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500M

dunno how my dad got it to work, but there is some 3rd party repo for intel drivers somewhere around.
just google for intel graphics and ubuntu, hope you'll find it.

might aswell be that you can't run urt with intel hd graphics if the driver is still as bad as in the beginning.
my dad got it to work with the windows executable via wine, still he has 60 fps stable. might be intel depending.

Sounds like v-sync to me. Try disabling that. :)
