TECH:
I have 4.1.1 installed on the laptop.
I have 4.2 installed in a different folder.
Dell XPS 17 laptop, I7-840 processor, NVIDIA GPU.
125 FPS on all official maps.
I play on North American servers with a ping under 60.

PROBLEM:
In 4.2 I noticed that once in a while, I hit space bar and the player doesn't jump.
I thought it might be a problem with my Keyboard, but the problem is NOT present when I play 4.1.1


Am I the only one with this problem ?

Do you use the same key binds in 4.1 / 4.2 ?

Make sure that your problem is not hardware related.

I got the same problem on 4.2, though not on 4.1.

It happens for me just after respawn, where I can't shoot or jump (maybe other actions too)

The key binds are identical.
I knew about ghosting and there is a limit to the number of keys my KB can process, but it never bugged me in 4.1

Furthermore, the problem is not constant. i.e. I cannot reproduce it exactly.

I have seen the same problem.
I mean the not jumping in 4.2 and I know it isn't a hardware problem on my side.

I am using the same binds and a mechanical keyboard (QPAD MK80)
No problems in 4.1.1.

The Qpad comes with 6KRO over usb and full NKRO over PS/2 so it's indeed no hardware failure.

- Both bought in one bundle, so they are connected with one usb-adapter thingy

I didn't have this problem in 4.1

I only played UrT at mini private LANs, where the server were hosted by our own computes (mainly mine, as all others got the least lag then).

This computer can also start to have something similar when I sometimes use my zoom script (press'n'hold). It doesn't register me clicking on the "shoot" button, and it doesn't zoom out (It has lagged out for a small time and doesn't register any input and scripts)

As I said earlier (though too short), the bug happens only for me at respawn, where I can't jump or shoot, but I can only run and look. I try to press jump and/or shoot some times and it seems to work as always untill it's triggered again at a respawn some other "day".
